Dr. Niño is an ophthalmological surgeon. She graduated from the National University of Mexico’s Medical School. Her internship was served at ISSSTE Adolfo López Mateos Hospital and her residency was served at the Count of Valencia Foundation Ophthalmological Institute, both in Mexico City.
Dr. Niño was awarded a subspecialist fellowship at the L. J. Girard Ophthalmological Foundation in Houston, Texas. She is certified in contact lens technologies by the Baylor College of Medicine and in ophthalmic microsurgery by the L.J. Girard Ophthalmological Foundation, both of Houston, Texas.
She is a respected member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Mexican Society of Ophthalmology, and the Medical Society of the Count of Valencia Foundation Ophthalmological Institute. Doctor Niño’s innovative research has been published in the American Intra-ocular Implant Society’s Journal, the Ocular Surgery News, and the American Journal of Ophthalmology.
