Around 100 World Press Photo exhibitions are held every year to showcase the previous year’s prize-winning and news-related photographs all over the world. It’s the most popular travelling photography event, and we’re really looking forward to this year’s edition which opens on Thursday july 17th 2016
Professional press photographers, photo agencies, newspapers, and magazines from all over the world have submitted their top news-related pictures from the previous year, and the best works have been compiled into this year’s travelling exhibition of more than 200 images, creating an overview of how press photographers go about their work around the globe and how the press relates news through images.
